ÐÔ°®Ñо¿Ëù Ready
The ÐÔ°®Ñо¿Ëù Ready program was established exclusively for students at Tidewater Community College to provide a direct pathway from TCC to ÐÔ°®Ñо¿Ëù. Students participating in this program are pursuing a transfer-oriented associate degree including the Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS), or Associate of Fine Arts and will be guaranteed admission to ÐÔ°®Ñо¿Ëù once they have earned at least 16 credits at TCC with at least a 2.5 GPA.
Students will have access to a number of benefits while at TCC designed to help transfer students succeed, such as:
- Co-advising through both TCC and ÐÔ°®Ñо¿Ëù to better support preparation and transition;
- Early access to events and support services while reducing the time to earn their degree; and
- Early access to ÐÔ°®Ñо¿Ëù’s on-campus events and resources such as transfer visits and tours, writing workshops, career workshops, financial literacy workshops, student success workshops, and faculty spotlights with both TCC and ÐÔ°®Ñо¿Ëù faculty.
Students interested in participating in this guaranteed admission program must submit their before their application to ÐÔ°®Ñо¿Ëù. However, it is recommended that the Letter of Intent be submitted as soon as possible so that students can benefit from all the opportunities provided through this program while enrolled at TCC.
